Kelly Herrod has spent the last 20 years designing and implementing computer networks for many different industries. Herrod moved from the financial world where he was working as a budgeting consultant to a network engineer in 1993 while working for EDS in Plano, TX. He gained expertise with large-scale networks while managing the Bank One network backbone for the back office operations division for 3 years.

In 1997, Herrod moved to a network consulting position with Arlington, TX based MicroSage, Inc. At this position, he was responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining networks for small to mid-sized business around the DFW Metroplex.

In 2000, Herrod formed Herrod Technology, Inc. and began providing full technology consulting services to all business industries in the DFW Metroplex as well as clients located in Minnesota, California, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Lousiana. He has grown his business to over $1.5 Million in revenue annually and has increased client size and business year over year.

Herrod graduated from Harding University in 1990 with a Bachelor in Accounting. He holds many Microsoft and networking certifications.

Dan Zimmermann brings more than 20 years of experience in providing IT solutions and technical expertise across a vast array of differing technologies and industries. Since graduating from Cornell College with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Zimmermann performed independent IT consulting for small businesses and soon joined IT consulting firm PoziTECH, Inc. There, he was responsible for IT support, solutions architecture, and project management.

In 2007, Zimmermann joined Herrod Technology, Inc. along with his former clients from PoziTECH, Inc. Teaming up with Kelly Herrod, he helped rapidly expand the business through exceptional customer relationships and technical planning/delivery across all verticals. His career path took him from Network Engineer through Operations Manager, and he now serves as Chief Technology Officer where he is responsible for internal/external technical direction, project planning/quoting, sales/agreement modeling, team structure/growth, as well as customer management/business oversight.

In 2015, Zimmermann began architecting and implementing networks for Smart Living Technology Solutions, LLC. In 2021, he additionally took on the role of Chief Technology Officer for the company.
